Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy for all Individual and Family Sessions

We have implemented a cancellation policy to benefit all of our clients.  We truly value your time and ours and ask for a 24 hour notice for schedule changes and cancellations so that we can provide that healing time slot to another person in need.  For regular therapy sessions, there will be a $50 cancellation charge outside of the 24 hour notice.  For Family Wellness Facilitation, a $100 fee will be incurred for rescheduling any time 7 days prior to the session.



The following are FAQs and our Cancellation Policy as it applies to Groups, Workshops, and Classes.  It does NOT apply to therapy sessions.

Is payment required at the time of registration?

Some classes will offer an option to pay on the first day of class with check or credit card.  If this option is not listed, payment is required either through check, Visa or Mastercard when you complete your registration online.  One of the payment options must be completed to fully reserve your place in the class.

Do you send a confirmation of registration?

Yes, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration shortly followed by a welcome letter packet.   If you have not received a confirmation within five (5) days of your workshop, please call  Cherie at (919) 606-2547 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              (919) 606-2547      end_of_the_skype_highlighting.

How late can I register for my workshop?

If space is available, you can register up to the day before the workshop.  Simply contact Cherie smilingspiritpathways@gmail.com to let her know you'd like to attend.  We will always try to accommodate you if possible!


What does it mean to be on a Wait List?

Our classes fill rapidly and when a workshop reaches its maximum capacity, participants may be placed on a "Wait List" for that particular class, if  they would like.  When openings become available either through cancellations or other changes for that class, regisrants on the wait list will be contacted promptly in the order they were placed. 

What is your cancellation policy?

If we have reserved a place for you, we will be taking very special steps to prepare for your presence (like snacks, materials, and other fun things!).  It also enables us to prepare for important elements of the class. However, more than most, we understand that life brings unexpected moments!   Our flexible cancellation policy reflects this. 
    • If we receive your cancellation at least  five working days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund less a $20 administrative charge per registrant.  For cancellations received later, you will receive a Credit Voucher to apply to any future workshop.  If there is an existing class on the schedule that is not yet full, we will gladly transfer your full registration fee to that class at your request.

    • It is important to note that if you register and do not attend, you are still liable for payment. 

EXCEPTIONS:
    • If  we have a waitlist for your class and a new participant is able to attend in your place, we will also happily refund your full registration fee less a $20 administrative fee. 

    • Or, if you are able to send someone in your place at any time up until the day before the workshop,  we will refund you in full!  Substitutions are always welcomed!  (We'll miss YOU though!) See below...

What if I can’t attend, but want to send someone else in my place?

We accept substitutions depending on what type of group it is.  Many group participants go through a prescreening process in order to determine the goodness of fit for the current class.  Just contact Cherie to let her know of the change and we will adjust your fee as per the cancellation policy noted above.


What if a workshop is cancelled?

Rarely, events may be cancelled due to weather, illnesses or class registration.  In the unfortunate event of a cancellation, every effort will be made to alert you at every contact you provide (email, cell phone, home phone) to arrange for a training credit.  We will also work diligently to  reschedule the course promptly or transfer your registration to a later date.
