Trauma Mentorship Program TM
Note: All candidates have been selected for the current cycle 2015-2016. All submissions will be considered for the 2016-2017 cycle.
This is a highly competitive, exclusive educational and certification program that rotates candidates after completion (variable time frames) to study trauma-informed care and specific trauma approaches with children and adults under the tutelage of national expert, Cherie L. Spehar, LCSW, CTC-S, RPT-S.
Developed by Cherie L. Spehar, this program offers one on one coaching, therapeutic training, and trauma sensitive care through a unique parallel process experience. Heavily immersed in not only the neurobiology of trauma, but sensory and expressive therapy approaches, this is unique to the state of North Carolina and surrounding areas.
Candidates have undergone a rigorous application process, and because they are expected to work in this very special setting, applicants must possess outstanding trauma informed understanding, exceptional client care, and natural abilities to work within a fully functioning Trauma Stewardship Model. Applications are not given until a prescreen appointment or interview has been completed.
ABSOLUTELY NO PHONE CALLS will be accepted for this program. Once your information is received, we will add you to the next round of applicant selection. Thank you!
